HOW TO USE AND APPLY?

PREPARATION

Apply a coat of Primer before coating.

APPLICATION

  1. Apply a first coat of Travertin with the Stainless steel spatula or trowel. Apply smoothly to obtain a uniform surface. Leave to dry 8 h.
  2. Apply a second thin coat of Travertin as before. Leave to dry for 10 to 15 min then ‘scrape’ the surface with the edge of your stainless steel spatula or trowel. This will enable you to create an uneven surface and give a travertine effect.

Travertin tinted with Terres naturelles:

  1. Add 120 ml of water to your pot of Natural Earth. Shake vigorously to ensure the water and pigment are properly mixed. Make sure there are no more lumps and that you have a homogeneous solution.
Incorporate the mixture into the bucket of Travertin. Preferably use an electric mixer to obtain a uniform colour.
Depending on the desired colour, you can add 1 to 3 pots of Natural Earth per bucket of Travertin.
  2. Apply as previously.

PROTECTION

For use on high-traffic walls (kitchens or bathrooms), we recommend applying a coat of Matt Colourless Protector.

ID & TIPS

Depending on the effect you want, you can ‘scrape’ using vertical or horizontal movements.
